This photo was taken after a day on my first real job, landscaping. (Lake Geneva, Wisconsin) I was about 22-23. I had a hideous sunburn, which as I remember it..was the worst experience, skinwise..Ive ever had. It didnt just hurt, it itched. I felt like I was going crazy, for to itch it was to make it burn, was to make me cry. yes, I cried like a wee lass with skinned knees, or sunburn for that matter. I chose this pic, not because its incredibly flattering, or unflattering. But because..the look on my face says everything. There is a bit of remorse there..the Geez Im in pain. But there is also confidence in my appearance, and in myself (as it was a very serious and grown up job, and I was quite proud) It is rather something to look back at myself, and recall that summer. Nostalgia is best served with cheesecake, I should add. Self-selfish-selfless Thanks
