"The Babylon Project was our last, best hope for Peace..."
This is an attempt at texturing Andy Ballie's superb Babylon 5 model- B5_Station.lha, available from the Aminet. (And it's in Imagine Format!!)
Texturing has been done using a mixture of SSHull.itx, SSHullRad.itx, and SSHullSpr.itx. However, I believe that it was produced using a version of Imagine that didn't support subgroups- as the blue areas, where simply coloured faces. It took the colorface2subgroup.irx macro nearly an hour to subgroup the right hand sphere into 5 subgroups.
For more accurate colouring, I then used the Subgroup2Obj.irx macro to split the different subgroups into totally seperate objects...
The SSHullSpr itx, doesn't look 100%, as I still need to play with the settings- I keep finding that the 'plate' towards the middle (running vertically down each sphere) are too spread out.
Yeah, the colours need a bit of attention, and it could do with some flood-lights, and naviagtional lights as well.
Traced using IFA 5.0, on an Amiga A1200, 40 MHz 68030/68882, 32 Meg RAM.

Really good for a work in progress.

This is a really nice version, good texturing, I like that grainy texture on the grey areas, a regular grey colour might have been too shiny, nice work in progress!

Love it - except for the blue problem (sadly, blue is my favorite color!) But, that section detracts - the rest looks spectacular!

Yeah, I agree the blue is just too bright- still needs work- there's about another 4 miles of station to try to texture!!!

The work is just perfect, Kevin, and the indigo blue is good too, because is centering the viewer's attention. Don't change anything, please.
