I like the color scheme and choice of graphic pieces. The portrait is very much in the foreground. Maybe you could put the deepest portrait on a surface and warp the surface like the grid. Then each under lying portrait do the same thing but vary the warping of the surface. Sort of a coming into time-space focus thing. Just a thought.
