Description

This orchid I dedicate to Tina a.k.a. LadyHawk, who had lately that terrible experience of the fire accident (see your posting). Old memories become suddenly awake and shake your life. A special 'predator orchid' (see the description) for you, Tina! I hope your will find peace in your heart! Looking to your impressive list of favorites I get the impression you're a bit as a spider in the web, with many connections to a wide variety of artist's postings! I love your enthousiasm; it is very contagious! After yesterday I find very interesting flowers in this area - many shots did not become born due to my malfunctioning camera :( - and that is a wonderful experience. After a couple of hours we leave this area and go to the next area, close to the Rhine. I'll skip the lizard orchid and the man orchid for these exposures are not beautiful. I was already surprised by all these interesting wild flowers, but this area offers many other species. While I had still seen only once an 'Ophrys' species, this time I am treated with several new species. Like this one, the early spider orchid (Ophrys sphegodes). The flower mimics the body of certain spiders. The orchid has even completed its flower with hairs! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

OH WOW!! :0D AWW that just so sweet,Thank you so much for I'm truely honnored by such a wonderouse & truely magical photo, amazeing flower,it dose look lkie a spider your detail is amazeing to get those little hairs & that tiny little part of a spiders silk,the color is beautifull, this is why wild flowers are & always will be my fav, flowers aww you just made me so happy, this sure made my week so much better,:0D so you noticed I like just about everything,don't like to limit myself,lol, there's just to many wonderous & magical things out there to do that thanks JC!!!! & you to cynlee for all the wounderous beauty you see & share with us all
