Description

Heres a tip to anyone wanting to visit the Collosium... (& I hope I'm not letting the gatto out the bag here) If you want to see inside you have to buy a ticket. To buy the ticket you may have to walk halfway round the Collosium, just to get to the end of the queue. You then stand for an hour and three quarters (if your lucky), buy your ticket then join the back of another queue - or thats the way it seems. If however, you walk for 250m down past the Arco di Constantino, you come to the entrance of the Palatino, go in there and buy a combination ticket for the Collosium and the Palantino, and hey presto you can walk right past the sweltering queue, and waltz straight inside.

hmm.... that's because you went in a busy season. When I went, it's was like a 5min line. lol MY tip will be... If you have never seen the Colosseum before, wait until dark and go by sub-way. It's amazing when you get out of the metro station and you see right in front of your eyes such a huge Anfiteatro light up. Leonardo

After reading the text I remember there is allways an easier way to get things :)). BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THE PHOTO ITSELF IT IS SUPERB AND THE TONE YOU HAVE CHOSEN IS PERFECT (not B&W but a pale grey/green). THE WHITE ROLLS ROYCE ADDS A MAGIC ATMOSPHERE !!! Congrats !!!!!!! ... and VVVVV .

Surely a magic capture. Love the desaturation that virates to green.. it reminds me of Fellini's movies :)

Agree with gallimel on this one I thought of Fellini (The film with the scooters) straight away. Definately got a sixties feel to it. Is that Michael Caine in the distance? Great shot
