Description

The Cobbler Arrocher Scotland This wee hill is full of character and always gives a good day out, (even if caught in summer downpours). It does'nt reach "Munro" status - hills over 3000ft - but its a sea-level start and is only 200ft or so from 3000. To reach the middle and highest top requires a little rock climbing, which means facing tremendous exposure, out on a jutting pinnicle... ....or you can sit at the base of it and stuff your face with pork pies, cheese& ham baggettes and watch others terrify themselves for their weekend enjoyment.

It seems to be a magical place. Certainly your great shot adds to that sensation.

Fantastic moody and somewhat mystical shot, nice lush green (must be all the rain) It doesnt look that wee not that I know from experience, three peeks the right one being the chimney? Never herd it called Ben Arthur. Maybe Merlin will come out of the mist. Im told that it is not as hard as Lomond so maybe I will give it a shot one day.

I feel right there: in the mist, and wet of humidity, in so wild, charming example of beautiful nature.

I was never a big fan of pork pies, but could you please pass me one of the cheese and ham baggettes? Seems like a wonderful place for a picnic.
