Description

The Gongs Gamelan Instruments #4 Yes, this is where the word 'gong' originated. In the foreground is the smallest member of the family, the "kemong". The three medium-sized gongs at the right are in the size-range called "Kempul". At the far left is the "gong", and largest of all is the "gong agung" (great gong), with a deeply resonant voice that is felt as much as heard. Parts crafted in DesignCad 3D and Carrara, assembled with Bryce primitives in Bryce 5. The kemong frame is a Bryce lattice made with a photo of a Balinese Kemong.
