Description
Graceful and elegant, this creature once ugly and unwanted glides upon the water's surface showing all just how sneaky Mother Nature can be. And how even something as dark as shadow can be beautiful and magnificent.
The first time in my life I've ever been so close to a real swan, and the first time I have ever seen a black swan. And lucky me! I had a digicam handy! There were a pair of them and they were beautiful *sighs*

Wonder what country this image was taken in...? Black swans are indeed rare, least in the central flyway of North America

Im sorry I forgot to add, Den Haag is in Holland - the Netherlands :-s And no less than 2 days after my 25th birthday :p And thank you for your comment Montanan!
