Description

Graceful and elegant, this creature once ugly and unwanted glides upon the water's surface showing all just how sneaky Mother Nature can be. And how even something as dark as shadow can be beautiful and magnificent. The first time in my life I've ever been so close to a real swan, and the first time I have ever seen a black swan. And lucky me! I had a digicam handy! There were a pair of them and they were beautiful *sighs* Taken in Den Haag, June 11, 2004 Questions, comments and ideas always welcome! Enjoy

Wonder what country this image was taken in...? Black swans are indeed rare, least in the central flyway of North America
