Description

Everything about this - "ship" - was strange. The materials that comprised its structure was like nothing we had ever encountered, the lights appeared to emanate from the material of the walls themselves, the hatches were like hellish mouths, and the rooms were bazaar chambers. It took us some time before we realized that this ship was not "man-made". It was alive. It was a living entity! The pulsing and thrumming wasn't that of a powerful engine, it was the breathing of this leviathan. Furthermore, we weren't alone. Something was coming up the walls of the pit in front of us. Scrabbling, scraping, and clawing its way up. The haze that lay throughout the "ship" hid whatever it was from view. It was coming too fast for us to escape it. We were going to have to face it, whatever it was.
