Description

[This was written in 1987 at a time when I had endured about all a soul could, emotionally. And so this is for a well-known fellow artist here at Renderosity, who is now reaching this stage...a need for self-defense...and this too shall pass.] Salt seas...oceans of life... Rivers of briny tears ruining painstaking make-up work designed to hide the obvious Taste of life's water Hot rivulets of emotion drowning in pools created by pain Eyes burning with the liquid fire of a soul's torment Damnation for the romantic fool Heart's hope for the future going down for the third time no future for this one! "Ravaged by others..." Body, soul, heart-- Nothing left to salvage Time to build the walls: A Bitch is born!

You know, it's uncanny how your words always, ALWAYS make the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up. It's like you can see straight into my soul and read what's there. These are such strong and powerful words, and I do hope they help her to feel her own power again...

I don't know what artist this is for, but I can certainly relate to the pain in your heartfelt words. We feel so deeply as artists, and I have said this before, the feelings are a gift and a curse. Very fine writing. :o) CC
