Me and my beloved sailor...never so far apart....never so close.

Although I've been a member here a long time, I have had little opportunity these past few years to savor the joy of posting my art and commenting on the work of those I admire and have had a friendship with. Family and medical has taken precedence in my life, even to the point of not being able to sit long enough at a computer to work. So now that things are looking a bit brighter and I am feeling better, I hope to once again post and comment! I have so missed this circle of talented people with their warmth of soul and passion of art. -- Feb. 22 ' 08

You know, it's uncanny how your words always, ALWAYS make the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up. It's like you can see straight into my soul and read what's there. These are such strong and powerful words, and I do hope they help her to feel her own power again...

Powerful and soul reaching words! You have such an incredible way of capturing the deepest of emotions and having the reader feel them, regardless of whether they're enduring them or not. Awesome piece!

A brilliant exposition of pain and suffering .. and a novel expression of one way to respond ... though I've always left a little door in the walls, to be opened at the right time.

When you read this to me last night, your voice bled into the core of my soul. This is what you felt, it is now what I feel. Full Circle? Maybe? A new beginning - definetly! Vote

I don't know what artist this is for, but I can certainly relate to the pain in your heartfelt words. We feel so deeply as artists, and I have said this before, the feelings are a gift and a curse. Very fine writing. :o) CC

I love the emotion that can always be found in your words and the way you make them 'visible' through your choice of words.
