Description
This is another image that has taken shape entirely to my strange affinity to work with trees lately :)

Very lonley....Shes so lonley the trees have died.....very good way to portray desolation. not even another living thing can survive in lonliness except an etheral detiy.....imagine how G-d must feel at times....

Well The composition incredible and the consept is quite powerful though, I hope you will be open to some critique... I beleve that the focus now should be on lighting and texture. The lights are in the right place (I think), But they too brihgt for the subject. Pick a focal point and center in on it. (Where do you want your eyes to go...) Darkness and shadow can be a great thing for this. Make the light draw your attention. i would try to work with the textures as well they seem undifigned and done quickly. Realism is found in the detailes. If you need to go into the "real world" and see what catches your attention. I'd like to see a repost of this when or if you work it further. -Gabe-

This is as good is your other picture. Are the trees made with tree or latices?

Wonderful! I had given up on making forests but I see its possible with patience. Congrats.

Good idea, I love the lighting on the figure, and the fact that she's off-centre, it lends creditabilty to the lost idea, and the forest rocks! The two things I would change would be to add background fog as the trees just disappear suddenly (or even a forest background maybe), second thing is the spotlight casting a circle on the ground, it looks unatural. I don't, however expect you to re-render the picture. I think it's always easy to point out things that can be improved, hell I look at my own stuff and think that! But I understand the desire to move on, so overall I'd focus on the elements that are positive. The composition works, the lighting sets the right mood (love the lighting on the figure!), and the finished image is just pretty damned good.
