In case the image to your left didn't tip you off, I'm an animator.
My primary application is softimage|XSI 4.0, although lately I've been using Poser 5 a lot, primarily due to the accessibility of content, and the very interesting techniques you can pull off with a bit of planning.BIOI suppose this should be the part where you read about me, but I'd prefer to use the space to talk about my animation work.
Basically, as you can see from my gallery images, I'm not that great at using just one frame to tell a story. Give me a few thousand streamed at 30 fps, though, and you might find what you're looking for.
I'm into "indie" animation, which means about the same thing as "indie" film making. I watch movies like "Pi" and "Requiem for a Dream" (Darren Aronofsky's a genius) or "The Ring", and try to apply style elements such as film grain, multi-speed streaming, shadow placement, and element distortion to create a more subjective feel. I like dirt, I like transmission noise, and I like the sound of old 45's played on a child's phonograph.
I think that pretty much says all you need to know about me.

I'm not sure what your background is, but it looks like it may be what happens when you try to render the two sided square, if that wasn't the effect you were going for, you could use just a bit of displacement on it, like .02 or so, to get rid of the odd pattern
