In case the image to your left didn't tip you off, I'm an animator.
My primary application is softimage|XSI 4.0, although lately I've been using Poser 5 a lot, primarily due to the accessibility of content, and the very interesting techniques you can pull off with a bit of planning.BIOI suppose this should be the part where you read about me, but I'd prefer to use the space to talk about my animation work.
Basically, as you can see from my gallery images, I'm not that great at using just one frame to tell a story. Give me a few thousand streamed at 30 fps, though, and you might find what you're looking for.
I'm into "indie" animation, which means about the same thing as "indie" film making. I watch movies like "Pi" and "Requiem for a Dream" (Darren Aronofsky's a genius) or "The Ring", and try to apply style elements such as film grain, multi-speed streaming, shadow placement, and element distortion to create a more subjective feel. I like dirt, I like transmission noise, and I like the sound of old 45's played on a child's phonograph.
I think that pretty much says all you need to know about me.

Nice idea!

lol, love the credits (and the image is pretty good too).

Pretty cool! By the way, adding blood and tattoos to an existing texture can be done without postwork: the Blender shader node is pretty useful for stuff like that! And a bit of horsepower (you've got that!) is quite helpful when using cloth and hair rooms. Nice badass Judy, excellent stuff!

Thanks, svdl. I know I could have added the tatoos in P5, but I honestly didn't think about it until I got to Photoshop. The thorns along her trigger finger and arm had to be handpainted. The rest were from some tribal art I'd been designing for my car. ;)

The lighting and expression are superb!

I like what you've done with Judy, she looks tough, also like the ragged bits on her sweater... I wish the image were just a big brighter so I could tell exactly what it is she's done in, could just be my monitor tho.
