------------- The Harpies - Syadina
When the Symballan Revolution was done, the Prophet known as Gryphon was crowned as the Pharaoh, Gryphoon Amin-Ra, the Avatar of Ra and Holy Master of all the Empire as ordained by Ra Himself. Gryphon became yet another in a line of Avatars of divine entities that ruled over a long period of peace and prosperity for all of Callona. Avatars were spread across the globe. Three there were in the elven nations; Treallar, Corellon, and Labellas. Two in the frozen lands of Hergovine; Odin and Tyr. And only one Olympian, Aphrodite. But in the Holy Symballan Empire, there were twelve Avatars; Ra, Osirus, Isis, Bast, Hathor, Anubis, Thoth, Geb, Nut, Tefnut, Sachmet, and The Phoenix.
With such imposing power just across the border, there is no wonder that many nations grew fearful of the Symballan Empire. Realizing that the major benefit of hosting the Avatar of a God was immortality for the vessel, that threat, whether it be real or not, would last a very long time. As with all apparently peaceful, religiously devout nations, an undercurrent of distrust, malcontent and disdain began to grow. It was not restricted to any one layer of society and touched even the most exalted of holy orders.
With the coming of the Pharaoh's rule, those who had served him gained a place of honor in His capitol of New Phoenix. One of those was a Kar'Thane Warrior from a distant planet and thousands of years in the past. One of the original technologically adept Frelenat travelers to come to Arrallon in its infancy, he had slumbered in cryosleep for millennia. When he was awoken by the forces of the Revolution, he joined their cause. In the years of peace that followed the revolution, he built a Kar'Thane training academy in New Phoenix. Thus the ancient learning, dead to the galaxy, was reborn.
But evil can find a hiding place in the most innocent of faces, in the brightest light. A student came to the academy from a noble Symballan family, a promising mentalist with a natural sense of the Kar'Thane. She became a prize pupil of Jamis Kenric, the Kar'Thane Master. But her heart was soon revealed. She loathed all that had become of the Symballan Empire under the wise and gentle rule of Gryphon. She saw only the weakness of compromise, the foolishness of pity, the folly of compassion. She was soon driven out of the Academy, but not before she had learned enough to start down her own dark path. She became a Kar'Thane Sorceress, and was soon hounded and hunted from one corner of the empire to the other. At length, she stumbled across another with equal discipline and promise, a Drow elf of noble blood from the old Drow regime. Together they fought their way out of the Empire to safety, until they met a band of women near the Atheaen border. Syadina al'Echmesh became the Kar'Thane of The Harpies. But her fate would not end there.

She's gorgeous... and I love the sword!

Yeap, wish I could remember who did it,... its the proto-sabre from his long line of light sabres, or the handle at any rate. Blade and light effects in post work.
