Description

The famous St Paul's Cathedral is very worth a visit. The beautiful ornaments, the leaded windows, the consecrate space, the tower, there's some much to be seen there! Although it begun already in 604 this building dates from 1710 and it has a rich history. Want to know more? Click here (opens a new window) to learn more about this cathedral. what a magnificent place!!!! Wonderful shot!!!! You really managed to capture a lot here & that's great since there's so much incredible beauty here! I love the rich burgandy-colored wood and the gold tones as well as the wonderful lighting from the stained glass. What stand out the most to me after looking at it for several minutes is the light coming from the window on the left. looks like sunbeams...a stairway to heaven perhaps??? i read a little of the history, but i'm so sleepy...eyes don't want to stay open. History is so interesting!!! CAn't believe it was begun in 604!!!! Wow!!! Anyway, thanks for sharing this place of worship and true art and craftsmanship (in the architecture)!!!! it's awesome!
