Thanks for viewing ! Comments are welcome... I have now clue whatsoever to what kind of fly this is... any help is much appreciated. The fly is about 2cm in lenght and isnt a bloodsucking or meateating fly as far as i know... it was drinking nectar. I was just reading today that the male of the horse-fly species drinks nectar, unlike the female that eats blood..... Obviously since you found out what it is, it's not a horse-fly but I thought that was rather interesting.....
