Description


Modeling, texturing, render: Strata 3D CX Post work: Border and optimization in Ulead PhotoImpact XL Recent testing with the new polyspline modeller, with no SDS applied (subdivision smoothing). Both the glass table top and the stone base were modelled with it. Radiosity rendered with an HDR image mapped to the new LightDome.

Well done. It is very realistic. The reflections and glass are superb. My only comment would be to tone down the wood a little. It appears to be too bright.

This is a GREAT image! The HDRI is the main feature I want to get my hands on, but those Polysplines sound tempting, too! This is a very kewl image -- perhaps more variation in the floor would make it more interesting, but I suspect you were more interested in the effects of the light dome and the HDRI. Very kewl work!
