Description

Scotney Castle - Near Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK. I used to live not far from these ruins. Built in the second half of the 14th Century, it is said it was never completed. It is rumoured that my ancestors were linked to the castle (being Drawbridge's and all), but I think it unlikely. Bryce models. A few plants from 3dcafe. And quite a wee bit of tweaking in Photoshop. Thanks for everyone that voted for my Spanish Alley. It was nice to be number 1 of the hot20 for a few hours (and then Hobbit posted and ended that ;-) Thanks for viewing.

Exellent image. The reflection is so clear. Like the way you framed the image with the trees. THe castle is nicely done, and kept simple.

Except for the repetitive texture on the upper stonework, it's excellent. I love the water reflection!

Great rendition of Scotney Castle Phil. When I was about 11 I stabbed my self with a pencil on the lawn that would be behind this camera position :) (needed two stitches - I still have the scar)
