Description
Still working on "Forsaken" and making significant progress...thanks to everyone for your input. However, i just got inspired today and had to put this one out...
It is an hour of darkness.
Of blood;
A song of dark desire,
Wolves vent their cry.
The wind howls,
And the dark one stirs.
Curling wisps of death
Shroud her brooding form.
A timeless life.
Her raven hair cascades over
Pale and tragic shoulders.
And her full crimson lips part slightly,
To taste the red tears streaming
From the pale flesh beneath her.
Now a night of ecstasy,
Compelled by her call;
I awaken

Very dark but excellent poem. Love the imagery!

A compact and intense little poem ... made all the more effective by its brevity.

Very good, brings out the dark atmosphere and the ecstasy of this old story. I have always felt great interest to the myth and stories of the sad ageless souls with their enormous passion and loneliness.
