Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".
Thank you very much for looking up my page.

Just "Drone Trooper" and weapons systems are looking juicier and juicier, Moe! And (if) when Stoney gets done texturing it, there's a place for it on my hard drive (grin). BTW, I still remember the story you wrote a long time ago about the drone troopers (smile).
jarm
This looks like it'll do the business when crunch time comes. Good job. Perhaps a slid out range finder/display to aim through in case a non-drone trooper gets hold of it.
Darkmagi
Looks solid and business like as always, will compliment the Drone Troopers very well.

I was unable to view the animation but from the stills it is a great looking model. Excellent lighting effects as well. My only question is do the fins on the rocket extend as the missle leaves the tube? ... ahem, I actually read what you wrote as I looked at the image a second time and see that the fins do extend upon leaving the tube... that's what I get for being a visual person instead of a reader!
Oshio
maybe the light cone(exhaust) is to narrow at source......and far too many comments, heh

Very nice Moe, could you send me one to show to a couple of new neighbours, sorta like a welcome gift, (which will probably be more appreciated by my other neighbours, LOL)
