Description

Just a test render of the TerraSpeeder. Added a few parts not seen before in the Wings3D screen capture.

Clay rendering done using flat white material with a sandy bump applied with low level and high frequency. Global lighting applied using DukDuk's GI rig (still in free stuff area I believe), and some diffuse lighting set through skylab shadow and sunlight settings. Shadows disabled on light rig, so all shadows produced are from "sun" source. Rendered in Bryce 4 using premium AA settings.

The clay look is a designers set point.

Any chance of getting the model for free, I would love to use it in my render, very nice modeling... I wander is it finished, or are U just testing what U did so far ? :)

Just testing what's been done so far. And when it's finished it'll be a freebie. I've just gotta get it up. Hopefully the place I use will get the bugs in the ftp ironed out by then. Either that or I'll have to find somebody to host it... Right now it needs more interior work, struts for the wing, and other miscellaneous items.

great detail on this..did you assign material regions in Wings to cover the various surfaces?..this will look even better with colors..don't stop now. (if you can find a mat called 'lego colors', I think it's at Wolfie's den..does great for car surfaces..;) keep it up..
