Description

Another test render in Bryce. This time in color.
Don't fret about the floating spoiler, I'm not done yet. Still have some other parts to detail. (Such as the currently generic looking seat.) Reworked now so it has two doors. Also doors have a few parts modeled that are associated with them.
The doors can be opened as is (requires ungrouping n' stuff), but I'm thinking of adding a dummy object (which will be hidden) so the pivot point can be properly set.

All modeling done in Wings3D (0.98.23c) and all rendering performed using Bryce 4.

This model will be offered as a freebie when completed, just be patient - detailing this takes a while.

Wings3D looks like a good program. Your use of it is also quite good. This is a hot little buggy!

It is looking pretty good now. It is nice and smooth and even has a bit of bevelon the door oppening which brings up the no rian gutters question. Modern cars lack them for aerodynamic reasons but have other subtler ways to keep drips out of the inside. The paint is just not reflective to the point of features. It isn't as dull as 3DS models but needs something to give it the Duco look.
