"Schwalbenwurz Enzian", seen at the Semmering Pass in Austria. Perhaps F 5.6 is a bit too high and the background too uneasy, too sharp. Tell me, what you think. Fujifilm FinePix S7000. F 5.6, 1/420s, ISO 160, FL 35mm macro.

It's just perfect with this DOF, only then (IMHO) cropped to balance the composition. Very beautiful shot, love those blue alpine flowers!

Depends what you're going for. If you just want the foremost flower in focus, then maybe the ones on the left are a little too clear. But the dandelions are perfect! I don't think the photo suffers from the sharpness of the other purple flowers, though. I like it! :-)
