Somebody's Son

He needs to rock in the arms
of his mother,
Earn the approval of his Dad.
When somebody's son
steps a little out of line
He's got to realize he's really
not so bad.
Somebody's son needs an angel
Somebody's son needs a steed,
and he needs to know
He's never to blame
for ills of his clan or his breed.
Somebody's son needs a place
to rest that is welcoming and warm,
somebody's son needs to dream
in a place where no one means him any harm.
Somebody's son is a prince in the house
of our farther and king,
and somebody's son needs a heart full of love
and voice with which to speak and sing.
Somebody's son needs something to hope for
in a world where charity is dead,
Somebody's son is a beautiful man
wanting somewhere to be lead.
Somebody's son needs an angel,
Somebody's son needs a steed,
and he needs to know that he's never to blame
for the ills of his clan or his breed.

Reminds me of the song "somebody's little girl" (I'm not sure the actual name, but this guy realizes that every woman he sees is someone's little girl, just as his child is his little girl).
