Description

Now, these are my two cents to the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, it was a private commission for a very nice woman who made this picture a birthday present for her sister - Happy Birthday Ania :-) - Yes, it is definitely Fan art... And it is a back to the roots piece, no digital image, it is oil on paper on masonite - and it is the first picture I tried these water soluble oils, I think they are wonderful, no turpentine

The oils help you bring so much light into this, looks great. I hope they keep working out for you. An artist shouldn't have to "fight" with their tools to get somewhere, lol. So good luck with the new ones! :)

Thank you all for your steady support - I really can't thank you enough - to FluffyAnna, this piece was really just to try these new colours if they work for me or not - so the size of the original is not to big it is just 17x12 inch - normally I work in bigger sizes :-) To LadySythe - no copies, no prints :-( -- as I said it is a fan art piece and I would not be allowed to sell prints of such a piece - so prints from movie adaptations are a big no no :-( --- Thanks for the interest!
