Description

"Reflections of a rose" Light fantastic and glory of the morning - a light a flash a breeze of color - I'm coming home no more to wander realms unknown - to water to land to light - Let love wash my gathering shadows away. ---------------------------------- Just a few words inspired by this rose. ------------------------------------------- You might not be able to tell from this render, but the rose is made of glass. Stem and petals alike. Thanks to Christopher Bischoff at www.stratacafe.com for the great model. I exported it from Strata 3D Pro 3.9 as a DXF and then imported it into Vue 4. I also created the vase in Strata from skinned paths (that were originally created in Freehand). Same for the table legs. I plan to do a close-up of the roses so we can better see the play of light through the glass petals.

A close up of the rose will be most enjoyable. The vase and table work so well with the light in this scene and the transparent frame adds addition interest and focus. A fine render!
