Playing and playing and playing with apo, again. Read all the tutorials and had alot of fun. But this is one very touchy program for me, lol. Did get something I just adore but can't post it until it decides to render in UF, maybe next decade, rofl!

Very nice image, Melissa! Love the colors and the solidity of the form!

This is pretty cool, love that curve, kind of like a curving tunnel. Why don't you just render in Apophysis or am I missing something? Render times really vary depending on if you've zoomed at all, the render size, the oversampling rate, and the sample density. For posting here I'm happy with 800 density, 0.2 filter radius, and a 1x oversample. I really can't see any difference raising the sample density any higher, it just really increases the time.

Beautiful, and I agree with redbeard, it always seems to take much longer to render an ordinary flame let alone an extraordinary flame in UF, atleast that is my experience. Either way you decide to do it, your work is always amzing and worth viewing =)

Thanks for the tips about rendering! I usually render in Apo, but this next flame deserved some 'extras'. I don't have a program anywhere to add them, except UF. What programs I have are VERY limited. I lost the reg code for my photoshop in a crashed laptop. Now I'm photoshopless, rofl.

I really like the colors on this! I'm still trying to learn Apo so I've got a long way to go. Great job!!
