Description

We follow the glacier, but it is temporarily a bit out of sight. The track is bringing us higher and higher. You don't have problems with the thin air? Perhaps it's good to take a rest when we can see the glacier again and enjoy the flowers! Unthreatened by the ice of the glacier these brave common monkshoods (Aconitum napellus) bloom here, just in sight of the glacier. A perfect shot towards the sun with a lot of very nice contrast anyhow. The glacier in the background looks like a very large tsunami rushing up to us. Fortunately you had frozen it with your shutterspeed. Superb idea and realization!

Wow, you certainly find some glorious shooting locations. This is an unbelievably beautiful pass and that glacial mountain looks wonderful against the grassy slopes!

A perfect contrast! In front the grass with beautiful rich colors and in the back the cold ice and montains in cold blue! The sunlight in the center is shining for both amazing opposits! What we get is a wonderful shot! Thanks for the pleasure!

I don't like to just jump in the middle of this series without seeing the rest, but i just couldn't resist when i saw this thumb! This is such a special place & you captured it perfectly! Nice symmetry & so full of mood. I feel like I've been here before ('cept i don't remember the glacier!) I've always been a daydreamer, and my thoughts have to traveled to a place like this before...one with much spiritual energy shivers...can feel it! Throw my blanket down, stretch out, and let myself feel the sunbeams on my face! What joy! vote!
