Description
First I want to thank everyone who left helpful comments on my first real space pic yesterday, 'Barren System'. I appreciate the feedback and think I used it pretty well here.
This one is three separate renders:
Main planet: Labyrintus Noctus terrain (1280x2000 render)
Large moon: Xanthe Terra terrain (1280x1280 render)
Small moon: Ma-adim Vallis terrain (1280x1280 render)
Background: Hubble image
The moons I rendered with a 25 km diameter each, which seems to work well for a 2049x2049 terrain and surface heights from 0-600 meters.
Postwork done in Photoshop (compositing, adding gradient layers, contrast, sharpening, blurring, etc.)
