Description

Okay, this is something really different for me, but I wanted to give it a try. I've got more ideas that I want to do, so this is sort of like a rough draft. ANY critiques and suggestions are welcome, so feel free to nit-pick! ;-) Planet: Terraformer 2 terrain. Moon: Terraformer 2 terrain (separate render) Background: Hubble image Combined in photoshop. Again, any comments/suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks! --Mike

Outstanding idea!! Is there any way you can sharpen or clear up the "galaxy/sky" part. See that is a photograph, now that is going to take some doings for sure. Good luck!!

Love it - you're on the right track for sure. My only comment is the light shading around your "moon" needs to be darker I think. That sky is awesome!

What an amazing sky! ;-)) @ twisted: this could be some sort of a thin atmo. But I would suggest to desaturate or take away some contrast from the moon to give an impression of distance. Still xlt work!!

Sure this planet looks deserted - that close to the centre of a galaxy ;-) The surface might be too bumpy for a planet's overview - your satellite-picture's surface is a very good example!

Excellent space image! Well, agree with Haroon about the bumpiness of the surface. And maybe you should add some contrast and remove some Brightness from the Background Picture (M31?), to make it darker, because the shadows on the planet are black and Space isnt. anyway xlnt pic!
