Description

Still not tired? I am glad to hear that! We take a little rest to enjoy the vista here. Half way the glacier the ice has to go down over a steep bluff where ice breaks apart. This ice-fall is silent and the ice moves so slowly I can't see it. Literally a frozen fall! It requires an effort to turn my eyes from it so I keep looking to it, wondering how fast this glacier moves on. I don't have a fish-eye lens so I am not able to capture this scenery with my wide-angle at once. Tomorrow I hope to post the right part of the glacier and to zoom in on that part. Awesome view, some might say the bright light doesnt really make the image better, but to me it adds to the feel of it !!! Excellent work !!!

Beautiful! Perfect lighting! I'm an LOTR nerd, so it reminds me of Gandalf charging toward Helms Deep.

Being ice, in a hundred years it will be different yet hold a similar pattern. The rocks will have yielded a bit and the ice become less tame.
