Description


The disjointed ice on the right was once more connected, as you can see. Different velocities of the ice and the structure of the bottom of the valley break the ice-cover into seperate pieces of ice with deep crevasses between them. That illustrates the danger of crossing glaciers, falling in a crevasse is a danger that should not be underestimated! you're right...have to be VERY careful of falling. those crevices are indeed quite dangerous. You were taking some risks maybe? but you sure captured the beauty of this place! Great work!
