Me and my beloved sailor...never so far apart....never so close.

Although I've been a member here a long time, I have had little opportunity these past few years to savor the joy of posting my art and commenting on the work of those I admire and have had a friendship with. Family and medical has taken precedence in my life, even to the point of not being able to sit long enough at a computer to work. So now that things are looking a bit brighter and I am feeling better, I hope to once again post and comment! I have so missed this circle of talented people with their warmth of soul and passion of art. -- Feb. 22 ' 08

Yes, a truly excellent scene and description. Now it's time to write that mystery novel. :o)

The roses lend an air of hope to an otherwise hopeless area....perhaps indeed they were meant for the girl you sensed....
BlueLotus7
Correction: I don't think they're roses...I think they're Phlox...if anyone can tell me I'd appreciate it...my daughter's the gardner! LOL

That is truly a wonderful picture!!! I love how you manage to capture the seclusion - as if crossing that threshhold would bode some sort of reckoning...fantastic job! And as usual your writing brings it all together!

Yes, I see ... the perspectives are somewhat awry. Looks almost like the setting for a modern remake of 'Sleeping Beauty' with the plant barrier augmented [it seems] by a distinctly unwelcoming wind. Creep-rating remains gratifyingly high. v

I love the way the foliage makes a tunnel to the door, almost like something is keeping the way open...

you do know how to set the scene with the writing! the foliage seems to be protecting the house from trespassers :]

I really like the 3d sence this gives. Your right - layers. Hum? The branch that comes up directly in the center looks like it's going to Whap the person trying to pass through the portal! Straight to my Favorites and a Vote!

This would be just the kind of house that i would buy for myself.gI like it.

I'm enjoying your series on the haunted house. I lived in a house when I was little that had a few strange things happen in it. Maybe that's why I love old houses. I feel so at home when I walk into one, well maybe not all of them. The roof does seem to be further away than the front door.

I'm so engrossed in your story and photos, and like calum, can't wait to see and read what happens next! If you've never considered writing a book, I'd say, start thinking about it because you've got everything it takes to be an amazing writer. Awesome series!
