Here are Chuck's personal words to the community:
I am a self-taught artist, formerly working in traditional or conventional media. For the last two years I have been experimenting with CG (Computer Graphics), and trying to transition from traditional/conventional media to digital imaging. In a few words, I simply love art and always have. Many of my images are "post-worked" by hand, re-scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. On occasion, I still use pencil, Prismacolor, Silverpoint, Pen & Ink or painting to achieve the desired effect. Whether executed the "old way" or the "new way" or a combination of both, which I often fall back on.
Art is art and it is the end result that is (hopefully) appreciated.

Terrific work, C! I wonder what the heiroglyphics say! Doesn't matter, I like the arrangement. I'm always impressed with the Egyptian's technology, how they could do such fine work... (not unlike yourself) but we have Poser and Bryce - they had... a cubit.

Chuck...no earthly words can express my love for your art. Especially your Egyptian art. Bravo!!

Yes, another masterpiece. Poser lends itself well to sculpture-looking figures, and you've expanded on this with a nicely lit gold tone that looks like a guy could reach out and touch it. In fact, you've sort of turned the tables on the weakness of Poser, turning this piece into one in which the lifeless appears to be coming to life. And the gold border melting into her pool is a nice touch, too. Keep up the good work!
