Description
The path up ...(and of course down)...to view Nambe Falls is quite long and meandering, quite steep(at times nearly vertical), very narrow and barely discernable in this very dry land...actually,the land is mostly rock, rock crumbles, and very poor dirt. It is remarkable that anything much grows, let alone is sufficient for cattle and horse grazing. The beauty and tenacity of Mother Nature, and the sheer power of the water, such a precious resourch in the arrid desert, cannot be denied when one really get's out their air conditioned comfort and takes a walkabout.......

As soon as I saw this I thought how amazing that anything could live in such an environment! Someday I want to take a tour of the Southwest United States

Grasses are so strong, they get more stress being stepped on! Waiting for the next pic :)

Water is life... It seems so unreal to think some people suffer incredibly from the lack of it...

You're making me homesick - great detail. It is thru the details that we build our perceptions of place. Well done.
