Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

You've done very well with taking this image and with working on the scan. 1100 down? Ooops ... bad for the knees so do it slowly!

Eh, well, very good colours - with some time ago, I've just pointed at you telling about that strange magenta in your pics, but you didn't say anything...Anyway, the artist is the only one that knows what's best for his pictures; (as you know I use very strange colours)... By the way: you still have some magenta in the clouds! Don't be angry with me, because I somtimes tell you smth that you not like, but I use to work in a photo studio and I hate a bad balance in photography...Take care! Respectfully, Mihai.
