Description

This vista I dedicate to Gerhard a.k.a. gerbach. Your love for mountains like the Grossglockner is obvious and well documented by your postings. And like David (bleachfix) you've taught me to correct my scans, by making use of selective corrections. The rocks in front of this image were very red and by correcting the color-balance the entire image became very bad. So I selected the parts in front and applied the correction in Photoshop only on the selection. A last view on the north before going down. Descending takes also energy and we've still 1100 meters to go down before the end of the day. So enjoy this a little and then it's time to go back to the valley. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

You've done very well with taking this image and with working on the scan. 1100 down? Ooops ... bad for the knees so do it slowly!

Eh, well, very good colours - with some time ago, I've just pointed at you telling about that strange magenta in your pics, but you didn't say anything...Anyway, the artist is the only one that knows what's best for his pictures; (as you know I use very strange colours)... By the way: you still have some magenta in the clouds! Don't be angry with me, because I somtimes tell you smth that you not like, but I use to work in a photo studio and I hate a bad balance in photography...Take care! Respectfully, Mihai.
