Description

Going down on the same track we can enjoy the vista on the glacier while the sun shines differently on it. The weather has become warm and going down requires some additional liquids. I have still some water in my can. Anyone thirsty? We move on and move on until we leave the valley of the glacier. Around the corner a heap of old snow draws my attention. Looking to the perpendicular precipice I think this will be the remnant of an avalanche, old compressed snow, lying most of the time in the shadow of these rocks. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 50 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Wonders of nature they are. Very well captured by your cam. Can you hand over the water please? It's really getting a little bit warm over here :-)

Coo what a really interesting shot - looking through the 'hole' and the sky is lovely. It's too hot though and I'm sweating buckets!

Frowning view. Superb contrast between the gray rock/ice and the deep blue of the sky! Looks like you were using filters.

The clear blue of the sky recalls the blue of the ice but here it has vanished from under the crust. The mind hesitates. Then takes the miniaturized idea of water in a can as having kinship to the ice and the vapor which took it away.
