This was going to be my entry in the Poser (no-Postwork) comp, but it sort of went wrong, and now I'm going around in circles, so I'm posting it instead. Firstly, dynamic hair sucks for close-ups - it just doesn't zoom well. Koz hair was a late addition to this image. I've been playing around with a sort of "peach fuzz" technique, that this image shows not working. Note the orange tinge on the right side of her face, where the poly's go perpendicular to the camera. And her eyes and teeth....I think it must be my light setup...I just can't get them right. Played with translucency for her teeth, and after lots of experimenting, discovered that translucency seem to function identically to ambience. If you cover her eyes and teeth, the image looks quite realistic IMHO. I think we look at an image, and if there is the slightest flaw in any part of it, our brain's subconsiously decide it is not realistic. Her face is also too red. Had a beautiful (more orange) colour previously, but don't seem to be able to get back there now. Enough rambling...
