Description
I created this picture especially for the banner of the Vue Challenge for September 2004.
Since I cannot participate as a moderator, maybe I can start making 'posters' for the challenges when I get a chance.
- Poser was used for the mushrooms and posing the little guy.
- Vue Pro was used to compose, texture, light and render the scene
- Painter was used to touch up some details, soften the cross and add some grass
- Photoshop was used for the final focus and color correction.
Thanks to Rodluc for one of his excellent castles and Peejay for his Celtic Cross. I will have to make another Traug picture for that one.
The little guy is the Power Pixie by Dark Whisper and the mushrooms are Kromekat's.

I often dislike depth of field in renders but I've enjoyed it here. The lighting is beautiful and I love the compostion and pov too. Excellent work! Oh and I really like the way you've mentioned all the programs you've used and how you've used them. thanks!
