well, i'm all the way back in 2004, but I wanted to comment on some of your older as well as newer work. This would be wonderful, huge. You created these resonant echoes with that jewel-like creation (which you say is by Stephen Hetzel). In the process, you created a wonderful, highly varied chain of 'events', with this gilded bejeweled door-knob-like-bauble, as it resonates through white space, and leaves myriad shadows in the background (which are reminiscent of the old lacy-iron structures of the late 19th C). It's like a string of jewels, and it keeps emerging and then submerging. And your mostly flat white space (but for the edges) makes it stand out like a commercial photograph---ie, designed to sell---of a very rare and expensive set of jewels, all joined in a huge bracelet or necklace, the size of a tract of land. The deep reds and browns are sweetly varied, and the overall sense is of a big chain found somewhere in the cosmos, as it goes through morphing. Wonderfully creative and suggestive. And I like that you shaded the edges as if to give it age...

can imagine that this is a city where the buildings are flacons and its the reflection in a colorless sea! wonderful artwork! ;o)
