god, I could've SWORN I commented on this. I've looked at it, I know that. But no comment? Ok...a wonderfully conceived and executed creature. Smooth contours, wonderful transparence, that insect-like face, with a bat-like shape and wings and (I think) involuted legs. Your morphs of blues and light blues are beautiful. And that pink behind him---or her---is wonderful. This looks like a photo of something in motion, where the shutter speed was so fast, you caught it in perfect action. And fine red accents under his "nose" and around the feet. Terrific piece, and a wonderful background too. THis is from 2004!!! I think they still had the crank phones back then! And people said "23 skidoo"! (Actually, I don't think people ever said "23 skidoo": If they did, they shouldn't have admitted it...My grandfather said "the bee's knees," which was about all I could process as a kid. I still believed, into my 20s, that bees had knee caps...) I'll be back to do all your images. And thank you for your consistently kind and perceptive comments in my gallery. I've seen your comments in other galleries too: You're very receptive and appreciative of many types of art, and it's great to have people like you here. And your art's a real joy.
