I know this shot is far from perfect but i just
wanted to share this weird fly with you all.. :o)
Maybe someone knows what kinda fly it is ?
Im thinking it might be a kind of bloodsucking
fly, since i was constantly attacked by little
red flies, never got a good look of them though...
Size is about 5-6 mm
And hey, dont those eyes look cool ? :D

Excellent photo. As for what it is, you got me. From the photo he doesnt look to have any mouthparts or the halteres to indicate the order (Diptera), the mouth and body look more like from the order (Hymenoptera), but its tough to tell, since with no pinching at the waist it would be limited to some form of Sawfly. Now, I am not sure what this guy really is, just an opinion. Its a really excellent job.
