ive done a lot of postwork with photoshop, but it still doesnt look right to me. thanx for looking, feedback is appreciated.

wow. looks like theres alot of icing on the mountains! maybe u could try adding more surfaces and rendering at a higher detail. great job though.

Depending on which version of TG you have (free or registered) size the terrain as big as your computer will comfortably render at. I have a lot of trouble with surface textures, and studying all the available Terragen pics will help. Agree with morganbesh- this is a great pic with potential. Maybe click off cloud shadows for this scene. Postwork should always enhance what is there- if it's not in the original render, you're going to wind up trying to "manufacture"it in post. You'll never be satisfied, 'cause your eye tells you the truth. Keep up this great work; give the picture time.

The key to doing what you want is practice, practice, practice! The folks commented you need more surfaces. There are some tutorials on this, and you can find them by going to the Terragen Community page. The clouds are too tall, so they don't look natural. Set 3D clouds for a height of 2.
