Description

They dropped out of lightspeed with deadliest precision and came over the outpost like locusts. Within minutes starfighter squadrons scrambled to defend theyr cruisers and the new republican outpost on the planet below, but theyr bravery was useless. After brutal waves of perfectly coordinated Tie-Interceptors, brand new imperial Scimitar bombers and the usual waves of Tie-Bombers swept the carrier frigates, cruisers and support vessels with concussion missiles and proton bombs, taking down the shields and eventually shutting down the main reactors. What was left was helpless cannonfodder for the stardestroyers `Relentless

Poor rebels, but I feel like theyr sacrifice will not be in vain. Evil always falls in the end. Excellent picture and I really like your descriptions!

I can practically hear the scream of the engines and the sharp report of the laser blasts... even though this is only an image... and that sound doesn't carry very well in deep space. Well done!

That is awsome, I love the blurred A-wing and the scorched Nebulon B. I read that battle (if I remember correctly) and this does it tremendous justice.
