For me it looks like ice in the front, but I hope you will explain. Wonderful POV and details. Excellent work !

I've spent years oblitrating Rhodesian Roman as used to write Chinese as Vietnamese. It makes my syntax very specially coupled to alphabet size when writing supplemented Roman. This image portrays force as an unmentionable in an excellent manner. The power of ice seems to just lay there and float quietly. What it can do to concrete is totally hidden.

Well, hm, it looks like ice, but there is too much green in the surrounding and the glacier-fields are too high and tailed off, so I think the temperature is too high to freeze this lake. No, what we can see here is a sanded, a silted lake. Oh, btw, to the right of the lake there are three people walking!

About the shot : this is realy a fabulous shot and place, looks magestuous and the way you did shoot it is just perfect. About comp languages... I think Linux is the more serious alternative to window and about what I know from it, linux wizards are working to create a "wysiwyg" environment like window but without all that tricks as codes and Java script war between SUN and Bill Gates, the consumer is always loozing in all that matters. It looks like a salt flat or sand, but I guess I say that because that's what it would be around my area of the world. It sure is nice to look at - whatever it may be!

I don't think its ice. It looks to me more like a river, silted up with all the scree and rocks and clay from the hillside? I can just see the three people (well spotted Ikarius) Amazing picture.

Excellent shot, wonderfull view. To me it looks like the washed down sediment from the mountains pilled in an old lake, with just a little of the water left over that you can see on the left in the front.
