Description
I modeled this Sony logo to try out a few rendering ideas that I had. I was going for brushed aluminum letters inset into a piece of black anodized aluminum.
Modeled with Rhino v2, rendered with Flamingo v1. Redertime was about 7 minutes at 1600x660 resolution. No postwork was done except resizing and adding the border.

Wow. Very nicely done. I am impressed. Have you considered sending this to sony? maybe they can use it in a billboard ad or commercial. Very good work.

this is nicely done. Nice textures, I like the edge along the black plate, think it's a nice touch. The empty spaces around the S and the O stand out a little bit, at least to my eye. It's subtle, it's nuanced, it's sophisticated and understated. A very refined sensibility.
