Description

This is a big caterpillar from the Privet hawkmoth. It was a very big individual, some 9 cm. and almost as thick as my thumb! When disturbed he performs a sphinx-like pose as seen on the photo. PapaGuru.

This sure is a beauty. 9 cms is quite big, I admit. would be interesting to see what it turns out to be.;) If I were there I would definitely take em home;) Excellent pic mate.:O))
