Description

Frogdot Industries is proud to announce that in addition to it's longtime productive Atlantic Wind Farm, we have developed a successful "Hurricane Magnet". The secret is the "Lodocrap Crystal". Made with beach sand and metal from mobile homes, this crystal acts as a conductive attractor to the ultra-low pressure cyclonic winds. As the hurricane approaches the magnet, it builds in intensity to terminal velocity of about 200mph. At that time a natural feedback occurs and the eye of the storm suddenly implodes and vaporizes into calm nothingness.
Of course, the benefits are obvious. With such powerful winds, the wind generators produce amazing amounts of electricity, which we, in turn, sell back to the government.

On a serious note, with this image, I do not mean to make fun of the tragic situation in Florida and the Caribbean. It's more "wishful thinking" that something could be made to control these storms. My best wishes and sympathy go to all that have to ride out these hurricanes.

76 lattices and 10 terrains were used. A 196mb file. The panels were quickly drawn in Photoshop, with a bunch of straight lines and then made into lattices. It's alot easier than it looks. Tried making it as large an image and while keeping the filesize down, to get as much detail.

Great idea! I like your Fantasy. "Wishful thinking" can solve problems, sometimes.
