Description

While there's good music still out there, depending on your tastes, good 'ol rock'n'roll is dead. I'm an old fart that came of age in the 60's. I was lucky enough to see most all of my heroes on stage. Nowadays, I listen to jazz, but when I slip in a Hendrix CD, or Stones, or Zep... Ah, those were the days. *** Started modeling my Gibson ES335 a few times, but had too many problems and lack of knowhow, so I decided to destroy what I had and it felt really, really good.

I saw this last night and wanted to dream on the brilliance of the concept and execution... your clean style and quirky sense makes you one of my favourite Brycers Dave... I truly love this one!

I don't think rock is dead. It's just being led astray by some bands. but it's still out there, good and strong, you just have to fight your way through the Britney clones to find it. Rock on!

I'm waiting too.....Hey I wonder if thats what our parents were doing--you know, waiting--for the music like "they" remembered it, telling us we were listening to garbage. I was raised in the 60's too, now I listen to todays stuff and shake my head...The ever evolving thing called music. (= Thanks for making me think this early!

Great model. Looks like you had a good time thrashing it. Good rock isn't exactly dead--You're just not going to hear any on of it on the radio.

Very realistic. Terrible thing to do to a Gibson. I recognized it right away before reading the caption. I'm the same age, and love Jimi Hendrix, the Stones, Led Zepplin, but every once in awhile I hear new junk I like. Not as good as the old stuff, but good. I liked Spoon Man by Sound Garden, I think. Give it Away Now by Red Hot Chili Peppers - those are now oldies. Can't think yet of something I liked THIS YEAR. Can I get back to you? :-)
