Description

On this altitude we can see lots of mountain flowers. We leave the parking place and cross the road of the Grimselpass. These melancholy thistles (Cirsium helenioides) bloom along the road. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 300 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

melancholy thistles...yes, they seem a bit lonely. they sure are beautiful though! There's nothing better than a field of wildflowers!!! You captured them fabulously! I enjoy thistles too. Hmmm...perhaps I might take a look at mine again.
